A blog on objective thought in today's irrational, subjective world tackling some of the hardest questions of existence using reason and logic.
And other bastardizations of the english language

Yes, that was a road sign that I saw the other day...

Yes, I suck at spelling, and every once and a while I make stupid gramatical mistakes because my brain gets ahead of itself. But this is pathetic. People, it's slowly, really, awefully. It is not slow, real or aweful.

Learn what an adverb is.... it's frightening how fast the adverb is getting bastardized into irrelivence in English in North America. Fight the urge, fight it every time you catch yourself doing this, correct yourself, please! The death of reason progresses fast enough, we don't need an incomprehensible language that means nothing to speed it on it's way!

Apparently the people who make such faux pas ridden signs were once the subject of all the "Slow Children At Play" signs.

You can't feel too badly for them though. As adults they seem to find gainful employment at either the city Public Works sign department, or all the construction sites that boast, "Slow Men at Work".

lol...

I get what you are saying and appreciate it.

On a side note, I have always been fond of adverbs as my name creates a nice one. My first and middle name: Heather Leigh

pronounced: Heatherly

ex. She heatherly gallops through the forest.

ex. She heatherly gallops through the forrest.

Then there's that spelling thing.......... ex. forest.

Sorry Heather, I couldn't resist.

I'm a stickler, of sorts, for proper grammer (and spelling), though I refrain from commenting about it here, usually. I was just talking to a friend yesterday about this blog site I frequent, and how utterly abysmal the spelling and grammer are used by some individuals. Mistakes are one thing. But consistently bad English indicates a lack of knowlege of their mother tongue. I used to always harass my kids to speak correctly. Now that they're grown, they do. Does me proud.

Yes it was a mistake. I fixed it.
